Privacy policy

Storage Rack Designer at storagerackdesigner.com is operated by Great Sitkin Technologies LLC (“we”). This policy describes what information is collected when you use the site, including information collected by advertising partners.

The short version

• There is no account. The designer runs in your browser.
• We do not ask for your name, and we do not run our own analytics product.
• If you email us, we use that email to reply.
• The site is hosted behind Cloudflare, which processes technical request logs (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
• Pages may show Google ads. Google and other third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons and IP addresses, to serve and measure ads.

Information the site itself handles

Bin sizes, rack layout, prices you type, and similar inputs stay in the page so the dimensions, cut list, and 3D model can update. We do not operate an account system, and the designer does not send those numbers to us to store as a saved design.

If you email [email protected], we receive whatever you put in that message (your address, and any details you include). We use it to respond, to handle a privacy or copyright request, and to keep a record of that conversation. We do not run a mailing list, and we do not sell that correspondence.

Hosting logs

The site is served through Cloudflare. Like most hosts, that service processes technical data needed to deliver and secure the site: IP address, date and time, the URL requested, referring URL, and browser or device information. We use that class of information to operate the site and to investigate abuse. We do not use it to build our own advertising profile of you.

Article pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives the requesting IP address under Google’s privacy policy.

Advertising and cookies

Some pages include Google AdSense. Third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies, to collect information as a result of ad serving on this site. That can include information about your visits to this site and other sites, in order to provide ads about goods and services of interest to you.

We do not pass Google information that we intend as personally identifiable information (such as your name or email), and we do not merge such information with advertising identifiers.

The designer does not set its own tracking cookie. A browser or an ad partner may still store cookies when an ad or a font request runs.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not collect precise GPS or other device location for advertising.
• The site is a general woodworking calculator. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

How long we keep information

Emails are kept as long as we need them to correspond with you and to meet legal, security, or accounting needs, then deleted or archived. Host and ad partners keep their own logs under their policies. We do not maintain a separate database of designer sessions.

Your choices and requests

Email [email protected] to ask what personal information we have from you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may also have a right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will need enough detail to find the message or request you are asking about.

The site is operated in the United States. If you use it from somewhere else, information described in this policy may be processed in the United States.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date above. Continued use of the site after the new version is posted means you accept the update.
